Briefing/Staging Canopy

The focal point of the TagParty.  The canopy provides an area for programming and debriefing Taggers and players. All players pick up and return their Taggers to the racks under the canopy at the end of a game (no power required). The Tagger racks are arranged by team on the outside, with the host and his/her Tagger centered in the middle.

TagPartyTM Barriers (Hides)                                                             SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Transforms your area into a laser tag arena. Constructed from lightweight corrugated plastic, the barriers are designed to be collapsible and reduce the chance of injury when an excited player runs into them. The main purpose of the barriers is to absorbs infrared light, limiting reflection and transmission while providing cover and hiding places for the players. TagPartyTM Barriers are free standing and can also be used indoors.

"Laser" Taggers - Infrared eye-safe LED (Light Emitting Diode) not a Laser

TagPartyTM uses modified LazerTag Team Operations (LTTO), IRT-2X Taggers with Thunder Pack (the Tagger vibrates when you are tagged). All game play is centered on the Tagger, it maintains scoring, is both the laser tag emitter and receiver and the interface to the player.  Basically aim at the Tagger not the player. The Tagger's beam profile provides roughly an equal hit zone over the Tagger's 250 ft  range in full sunlight.

In hosted games the Taggers provide individual and team rankings, information on individuals performance, and various game set-ups including; number of tags, amount of laser tags and shield time, game time, and other game configuration options.

Pressing the up and down arrow buttons, during a game, will allow you to scroll through the display to show; how many tags until you are out, seconds of shield time remaining, the ID of the last person to land a laser tag on you, and the game timer countdown with the number of laser tag to be fired before the next reload ("F" mean a full 10 laser tags available).

In Game Tagger Sounds

Many of the sounds will be heard in combination e.g. "Out of ammo" and "Auto-Reload". Expect a delay in the "hit confirmation" sound as being tagged, and other information providing sounds take priority over it. Knowing the meaning of each sound will help you in a game as they provide useful information without requiring you to view the display. Watch out for the "cannot fire" sound this is a good way to recognize that you have left your shields on, or,  have accidentally switched them on

  1. Power up
  2. Countdown  - Time to head to the starting team bases. DO NOT leave the hosting station until you have the T-30 countdown started.
  3. Good Luck! - Signals the beginning of the game, DO NOT pull the trigger before you hear this sound or you will be disqualified and not get a score at the end of the game.
  4. Single laser tag fired
  5. Triple laser tag burst fired
  6. Out of ammo
  7. Auto-Reload  - 2 second delay before you can fire again.
  8. Cannot fire - Your shields are on, you need to wait for the reload, or you are in overheat. This is also heard when the shield button is pressed and shields are not available.
  9. Overheat - To much rapid fire will cause a simulated overheat, wait for the "OVHT" countdown to clear before firing. You can still be tagged. while in overheat.  Too many overheats can disqualify you.
  10. Lock-on to opponent - Time to fire. You cannot "Lock-on" to a player when their shield are on.
  11. Lock-on to teammate .
  12. Laser tag received
  13. Laser tag hit confirmation - If you don't hear it don't worry, it could be delayed or the hit Tagger was moved before you picked up the signal.
  14. Shields on - Shield run for a maximum of 10 seconds, then switch off. As with a manual switch you will need to wait 2 second before you can switch them back on. Trying to turn on shield too early or if you have used all of your allotted game shield time will result in you hearing the "cannot fire" sound
  15. Laser tag blocked by shields
  16. Danger! - Opponent is within 10 feet of you.
  17. Warning! - down to your last 5 tags, time to hide
  18. You're Out! - Return to the debrief station
  19. Game Over! - Return to the debrief station
  20. Shut down

Water Taggers

Delivers a large volume of water, fast. Refill from strategically placed water reservoirs (soaking the TagParty Crew is fun, but if you do, don't expect to get your nearest reservoir filled in a hurry!).

Water Tag Vests

As the vest fills up with water a float rises, when it reaches the top you are out. Again different colored vests identify team.
