What to Wear to a TagParty Sport Event
Wear seasonally appropriate cloths, ideally in layers that can easily be removed or added. If playing in a wooded area you should wear long sleeved shirts and long pants. Always wear comfortable boots or sneakers with good grips. Thin gloves are a good idea in winter.
Because there are no projectiles, there is no need for protective gear, or thick layers of clothes to take the sting out of being hit.
Weather & the Seasons
We can play in all weather condition, except heavy rain, or moderate rain when it is cold. We of course do not play when there is thunder or lightning in the vicinity.
We play year round, the different seasons and resulting changes in the natural environment just adds the variety in the game play.
Playing Area
TagParty Sport can be played virtually anywhere: in woods and forests, open playing fields and parks, around buildings and houses. Obviously you will need permission to play on public or private land, and importantly the varying safety issues must be addressed in the different environments.
200 feet x 100 feet (just over half a football field, or just under half an acre) is probably the minimum size for 16 player. If the area is smaller than this, consider reducing the number of players or having a standard TagParty with the smaller LTTO taggers and only a sensor on the tagger.
